This Privacy Policy describes how Farts in a Bag (“the app,” “Farts in a Bag”) handles your information. Farts in a Bag is developed and published by UrsaWorx LLC (“UrsaWorx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Tennessee limited liability company.

This policy applies only to Farts in a Bag. Other products and services offered by UrsaWorx are governed by their own separate privacy policies.

The short version:

Farts in a Bag does not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit any personal information about you. The app runs entirely on your device. UrsaWorx operates no servers that receive your data.

1. Information Farts in a Bag Collects

None.

Farts in a Bag does not send any user data to UrsaWorx. UrsaWorx operates no backend service that receives, processes, or stores information about Farts in a Bag users. We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information

• Account credentials or passwords

• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IP addresses

• Location data

• Usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports

• Records of which sounds you play or when

• Any other personal or behavioral information

Farts in a Bag does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

2. How Farts in a Bag Stores Your Data

All data created or used by Farts in a Bag is stored locally on your device. This includes:

Sound preferences:

Your selected default sound and whether random mode is enabled, stored on your device.

Purchase status:

Whether you have unlocked the Fart Pack in-app purchase, cached locally based on information provided to your device by Apple’s App Store.

App Group storage:

Some of your settings are stored in a shared container on your device so the Home Screen widget can use the same preferences as the main app. This shared container is entirely local to your device and is not synchronized to any UrsaWorx server.

This data does not leave your device.

3. Purchases

The optional Fart Pack in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. UrsaWorx does not receive, store, or process your payment information. Apple provides us only with aggregate, anonymized sales data. Apple’s handling of your payment data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

To determine whether you have unlocked the Fart Pack, the app asks Apple’s StoreKit framework about your purchase history for this app. The result — a simple “unlocked” or “not unlocked” status — stays on your device and is not sent to UrsaWorx.

4. Children’s Privacy

Farts in a Bag is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information at all. The app contains comedic flatulence sounds and imagery; parents and guardians should make their own determination about whether the App is appropriate for their child.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Because Farts in a Bag does not transmit personal information to UrsaWorx, there is nothing on our servers for us to access, modify, export, or delete on your behalf. All of your app data lives on your device and remains under your control. You can:

• Delete Farts in a Bag to remove all locally stored app data, including your sound preferences

• Remove the Home Screen widget at any time from the Home Screen

• Restore previous in-app purchases via the Settings screen in the app

6. Security

Because no user data is transmitted to UrsaWorx, there is no server-side Farts in a Bag data that could be exposed in a breach on our end. Local data is stored using standard iOS storage mechanisms and is protected by your device’s operating system security.

Keeping your device’s operating system current and using a device passcode are the most effective steps you can take to protect the data on your device.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we change our approach — for example, if a future Farts in a Bag feature would involve collecting any information — we will update this policy and clearly disclose what changed before the change takes effect. The “Effective Date” above will be updated when changes are made. Continued use of Farts in a Bag after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Welcome to Farts in a Bag. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and UrsaWorx LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company (“UrsaWorx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your use of the Farts in a Bag mobile application and any related services we provide (collectively, the “App”).

By downloading, installing, or using Farts in a Bag, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply only to Farts in a Bag. Other products offered by UrsaWorx are governed by their own separate terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Farts in a Bag. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. License to Use the App

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, UrsaWorx grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use Farts in a Bag on Apple devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

This license is granted under the terms of Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps distributed through the App Store, except where these Terms expressly modify it.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law

• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App

• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks in the App

• Extract, redistribute, or repurpose the sound effects, artwork, or other content bundled with the App

• Use the App to violate any law, regulation, or third-party right, including copyright and other intellectual property rights

• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its features

• Use the App to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code

4. The App and Its Content

Farts in a Bag is a novelty soundboard application. Tapping the bag — either inside the App or via the Home Screen widget — plays a fart sound effect. The App ships with a library of pre-recorded sound effects and original artwork; no content is downloaded from the internet, streamed, or contributed by third parties.

The sound effects, artwork, animations, and other creative content bundled with the App are owned or licensed by UrsaWorx. Your license to use the App does not grant you any right to extract, redistribute, or reuse this content outside the App.

The App is provided for entertainment purposes. The sounds and imagery are intentionally humorous and may not be suitable in all settings. You are responsible for using the App in a manner appropriate to your surroundings.

5. In-App Purchases

Farts in a Bag offers a single optional in-app purchase called the Fart Pack (“Premium Features”). The Fart Pack unlocks access to the full library of sound effects and the random-playback mode. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are governed by Apple’s Terms of Service and your existing agreement with Apple.

One-time purchase.

The Fart Pack is sold as a single one-time purchase, not a subscription. Once purchased, it remains available to you on devices signed in to the same Apple ID, subject to Apple’s App Store policies regarding purchase restoration.

Refunds.

Apple handles all refund requests for App Store purchases. If you wish to request a refund, you must do so through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. UrsaWorx does not process refunds directly.

Future changes.

UrsaWorx may modify the contents of the Fart Pack over time — for example, by adding new sounds. We will not remove sounds that you previously paid to unlock in a way that materially reduces the value of your purchase.

Pricing.

The price of the Fart Pack is displayed at the point of purchase and may change. Price changes do not affect purchases you have already completed.

6. Your Data and Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in the Farts in a Bag Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: Farts in a Bag does not collect or transmit personal information to UrsaWorx. All app data lives on your device.

7. Intellectual Property

Farts in a Bag, including its name, logo, design, code, graphics, sound effects, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by UrsaWorx LLC and protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use the App, not ownership of it.

“Farts in a Bag” and “UrsaWorx” are trademarks of UrsaWorx LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

8. Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests regarding Farts in a Bag, you grant UrsaWorx a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback for any purpose without obligation to you. You are not required to submit feedback, and submitting feedback does not entitle you to any compensation.

9. Updates and Changes to the App

UrsaWorx may release updates, modifications, or new versions of Farts in a Bag from time to time. Updates may add, change, or remove features. Some updates may be required for continued use of the App or for continued access to certain features.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes when practical.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UrsaWorx disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

UrsaWorx does not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that it will be compatible with any particular device configuration, or that any defects will be corrected. You use the App at your own risk.

Farts in a Bag is intended as a comedic novelty. We make no representation that the App, its sounds, or its imagery are appropriate for every audience, setting, or occasion.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, URSAWORX LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, social embarrassment, or interruption of service, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.

UrsaWorx’s total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you have paid to UrsaWorx for Farts in a Bag in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) ten U.S. dollars ($10.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, UrsaWorx’s liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UrsaWorx LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the App; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights; or (d) your violation of any applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Farts in a Bag at any time by deleting the App from your device.

UrsaWorx may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the App.

The following provisions survive termination of these Terms: Sections 6 (Your Data and Privacy), 7 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Feedback), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing Law), and 16 (Miscellaneous).

14. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You and UrsaWorx agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Farts in a Bag shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from pursuing a claim in small claims court where jurisdiction and venue are otherwise appropriate.

15. Apple App Store Additional Terms

You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and UrsaWorx, and not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). Apple is not responsible for Farts in a Bag or its content. The following additional terms apply to your use of Farts in a Bag on Apple devices:

Scope of license:

The license granted in these Terms is limited to use of Farts in a Bag on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

Maintenance and support:

UrsaWorx, not Apple, is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for Farts in a Bag.

Warranty:

In the event of any failure of Farts in a Bag to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the App (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.

Product claims:

UrsaWorx, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to Farts in a Bag, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Intellectual property claims:

In the event of any third-party claim that Farts in a Bag or your use of it infringes that party’s intellectual property rights, UrsaWorx, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.

Third-party beneficiary:

You acknowledge that Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement.

These Terms, together with the Farts in a Bag Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UrsaWorx regarding Farts in a Bag and supersede any prior agreements.

Changes to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above and provide reasonable notice, such as through the App. Your continued use of Farts in a Bag after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

No waiver.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

Assignment.

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. UrsaWorx may assign these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

No agency.

No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created by these Terms.
